Rolls-Royce celebrates largest-ever number of new apprentices
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has recruited 23 talented young people for its 2018 apprenticeship programme. The luxury automotive group said on making the announcement that 23 is the largest cohort of new apprentices it has taken on since the start of the programme.

It launched the current apprenticeship programme in 2006 to provide people aged 16-24 with the opportunity to train with Rolls-Royce. Apprenticeships last for up to four years and combine on-the-job training with study.

Those taking part spend time in the different manufacturing departments at the Rolls-Royce factory at Goodwood in the south of England, including the leathershop.

In addition, Rolls-Royce is also currently providing industrial placements, lasting from six to 12 months, for more than 100 university students, and it runs a highly successful graduate recruitment programme, with new positions made available every year.
