Smythson announces new chief executive

While his previous roles include senior communications and marketing positions at brands such as Sergio Rossi and Loro Piana, Mr Rougeaux also has direct experience of Smythson; he held the position of chief commercial officer there for three-and-a-half years until July 2015.
In his new role, the company said it wants Xavier Rougeaux to use his experience, vision and expertise to boost global brand awareness. He will work closely with Luc Goidadin, who was appointed as creative director in February, “to elevate Smythson’s product offering and international profile”, it said.
