JBS celebrates new US and Australia credit facility

Packer and tanning group JBS has said a successful conclusion to recent negotiations on credit facilities from a number of banks in the US and Australia demonstrates confidence in the company’s business in these regions.

Its facility in the US, syndicated by 11 banks, is for the amount of $900 million. The agreement in Australia, with one bank, gives the company a new revolving credit line of around $140 million, guaranteed for the next two years.

JBS faced a series of scandals in 2017.
