JBS distributes animal welfare kits to farmers

Director of farmer relations, Fábio Dias, said on announcing the development: “Animal welfare is of great importance to JBS. Consumers and society in general want the whole of our value chain to adopt a more responsible position with regard to animals. We want to raise awareness among our suppliers and encourage them to adopt strategies and techniques that reinforce the importance of caring for their animals.”
The kits include flags to help drive cattle effectively, as well as posters and booklets outlining good practice.
