SSIP becomes ZDHC contributor

Italian leather research body Stazione Sperimentale delle Pelli e delle Materie Concianti (SSIP) is among the latest organisations to sign up as contributors to the Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Foundation.

It joins ZDHC in the ‘Solution Provider’ category.

At more than 130 years old, SSIP is the world’s oldest existing technical institute dedicated to the leather industry.

The other two new additions to the programme are India-based dye and dye intermediate manufacturer Jay Chemical Industries and Pidilite Industries, also from India, a maker of specialty chemicals.
