Pentland Brands appoints new directors

Following the announcement last month, that Pentland Brands is to be the new global footwear licensee for Karen Millen, Nicola Mathews is appointed brand director for fashion, and will head up both the Karen Millen and Ted Baker footwear businesses.
She was previously commercial director at Karen Millen and has worked across commercial and merchandising roles for LK Bennett, Hobbs, Lola Rose and Gap.
At the time of the announcement, Ms Mathews said: “Pentland’s rich history of growing footwear categories for highly acclaimed brands, alongside its wealth of consumer insight, creative and category expertise, make this new role a really exciting proposition. My focus will be on leading our footwear team in growing a beautiful portfolio of fashion footwear brands, that really matter to the consumer.”
