AICC national conference to go ahead in Tuscany

Italy’s Association of Leather Chemists (AICC) will hold its 2018 national conference in Castelfranco di Sotto on June 8. This will be the 46th national conference in the organisation’s history.

The theme for the event this year will be, ‘Leather as an icon of luxury: the art of raising the prestige of waste material’.  

Several pieces of new research will be presented, as well as innovations in production processes and in wastewater treatment, all of which will demonstrate what AICC has called “the true sustainability of the whole tanning sector”.
