International Luxury Conference heads to Hong Kong

The New York Times has offered the first details about the 2018 edition of its International Luxury Conference, which will take place in Hong Kong (November 12-13).

The theme of this year’s conference is “The New Luxury World (dis) Order”. The issues covered will include the impact of political development on luxury consumer behaviour; the secrets of building a new eco-system of collaboration; and the impact of artificial intelligence. All will be addressed beneath the sub theme of luxury in Asia.

Among those confirmed to participate at the conference are: Yafu Qiu, chairman of Shandong Ruyi; Ian Rogers, chief digital officer of LVMH; Remi Ruffini, chairman of Moncler; Joann Cheng, president of Lanvin; and Cédric Charbit, CEO of Balenciaga.
