21/05/2018
The International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) is providing $6 million in funding for a new project in Angola that will boost food and nutrition security among some 8,000 rural households in Benguela, Cunene and Huila provinces.

Subsistence farmers will receive help in livestock production and crop productivity. The project will provide households with two packages: a crop-based, food security package and livestock-based packages consisting of goats, sheep, poultry and pigs. The project will help communities increase on-farm productivity and improve their food security through livelihood diversification.
