Indian delegation to visit Africa

India’s Council for Leather Export (CLE) is to lead a delegation of representatives of the Indian leather sector to Ethiopia and Rwanda in July.

The trip will include visits to government ministers, the Leather Industry Development Institute, the Ethiopian Leather Industry Association and other relevant leather stakeholders on July 3, 2018. Visits to tanneries in Modjo and manufacturing plants in Addis Ababa will follow.

The delegation will then continue to Rwanda on July 5, 2018, to meet the minister of trade and industry there and to hold discussions on business opportunities with leather stakeholders.
