Abrameq invites Fimec participants to visit model tannery

Brazilian tanning machinery manufacturers’ association Abrameq has invited delegates at the 2018 Fimec exhibition in Novo Hamburgo (March 6-8) to visit a model tannery it has helped establish nearby.

Abrameq will provide transport from the Fimec exhibition to the model tannery, which is located at facilities dedicated to leather and the environment that are run by training organisation Senai in Estância Velha, ten kilometres away. Groups will be limited to a maximum of 80 people each day.

As well as being able to see in real time what Abrameq has referred to as “leather production using the industry’s most up-to-date technology”, participants will be able to attend talks on Industry 4.0, on wastewater treatment and on clean production.
