Stella’s shoe shipments rose in 2017

Stella released unaudited figures for 2017 on January 12, showing full-year sales of just over $1.5 billion. It put the total volume of shoes shipped during 2017 at 56.6 million. However, the average selling price per pair that Stella achieved last year fell by 5% to $26.70.
On releasing the figures, chief executive, Lawrence Chen, said: “It is pleasing to see some recovery in shipment volumes for our casual and fashion footwear segments at a time when shipment volume growth for our fashion athletic footwear further moderated as we move away from a low base. We will continue to work closely with our branded customers to increase the value and quality of all our footwear products.”
