TFL to bring regional R&D under one roof at Muttenz

Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL is to expand its laboratory facilities at Muttenz, near Basel.

Research and development activities for this region, including screening and testing, will now be consolidated in the facilities at Muttenz. TFL said this move will allow it to make the best possible use of the facilities it has there.

The company said innovation is an important part of its philosophy and that it has built up “an excellent infrastructure of laboratories and application centres worldwide”. Chief executive, Dr Peter Amann, explained that bringing teams together at Muttenz will help TFL “enhance quality” as well as efficiency.
