Scottish Leather Group companies share award

Two companies in the Scottish Leather Group shared a prestigious prize, given out at the 2017 Renfrewshire Chamber of Commerce Awards.

At the awards ceremony in Renfrew on November 17, the group’s wet-end tanneries, Bridge of Weir-based NCT Leather and Paisley-based W.J. & W. Lang, were joint-winners of the award for best performing businesses with more than 25 full-time employees.

Scottish Leather Group was the sponsor of another of the awards on the night, the prize for excellence in customer service, which went to a local mobile beauty treatment start-up, Sarah-Lou Beauty.
