Tata International team takes on water project at local school

The team at Tata International’s leather manufacturing unit at Dewas in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh recently worked with non-governmental organisation Jansahas to run a hygiene-awareness day at a local school.

In total, more than 80 students at Anwatpura government school, which is only 3 kilometres from the Tata leather manufacturing facility, took part in day-long activities focusing on the responsible use of water and the importance of cleanliness.

The children also heard talks about child labour and services that are available in India for children who suffer abuse.
