India’s Council for Leather Exports has said its member companies reported good levels of interest at two recent events in Europe.

Nine Indian leather companies attended the BTS footwear and leather event in Poznan, Poland in September. They held almost 30 formal business meetings in the course of the event and anticipate thousands of euros worth of business to follow.

Around 25 member companies took part in Spoga Horse event in Cologne, also in September, generating hundreds of enquiries, orders booked on the sport and anticipated follow-up orders worth more than €1 million.
