UNIDO organises entrepreneurs’ forum in Bahrain

Hundreds of entrepreneurs from around the world gathered in Bahrain at the end of October to take part in a United Nations-led forum on innovation and growth.

The event, the World Entrepreneurs Investment Forum, was organised by the UN Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO) and the government of Bahrain.

In the build-up to the forum, the president of the UN General Assembly, Miroslav Lajcák, described it as a “unique opportunity” to accelerate progress towards the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals.
