Brazilian beef exports up in volume and value

Exports of beef from Brazil increased in the first nine months of 2017 compared to the same period last year.

Between January and September 2017, Brazilian packers shipped just over 1 million tonnes of beef to export markets, bringing in export revenues of $4.3 billion.

These numbers represent year-on-year increases of 1.8% in volume and of 6.6% in value.
