SLG Technology takes ‘Outstanding Business’ prize in Glasgow

This division has the role of developing new environmental and sustainable production technologies, such as a thermal energy plant at Bridge of Weir Leather, and bringing the benefits of these ideas to as many parts of the Scottish Leather Group as possible.
Receiving the awards on behalf of SLG Technology, the group’s environmental director, Dr Warren Bowden, said: “Sustainability is among the most important considerations in our business. Indeed, much of our marketing and promotion is based on the innovative techniques and processes we’ve adopted over the last 10 years to ensure we are market leaders in this field. It is an honour to be recognised by the Glasgow Business Awards for the fantastic efforts of our dedicated team at Scottish Leather Group.”
