ATC inaugurates new centre of excellence
02/10/2017
The event was attended by tanners from all the market segments ATC serves, including footwear, accessories, automotive, aviation, furniture, double-face and apparel.
Addressing guests, the company’s founder, Jean-Pierre Gualino, said: “It is really a great honour to have you all here.” He recalled purchasing land in 1990 and drawing up plans to build the factory at its current location, but said that that, after more than 40 years in total in the business, ATC is now “a strong company”, well managed by his two sons, Pierre-Antoine and Jean-Baptiste, who took over the running of the operation in 2011.
Current management team, Jean-Baptiste and Pierre-Antoine Gualino, then explained to guests that ATC has never stood still and has managed to grow consistently over the years. “Sometimes its difficult to measure progress,” the brothers said, “but we can show you who we are today, demonstrate the strengths we have and share our vision for the future.”
They said they also thought it was important to take time at the event to celebrate the road the company has travelled so far, while also looking forward to the future “with confidence and enthusiasm”.
