Portugal to host 2018 UITIC congress

Portugal’s main footwear industry association, APICCAPS, and industry research body CTCP have announced that they will jointly host the twentieth UITIC Congress next year. The event will take place in Porto in May 2018.

The programme will include visits to local footwear factories on May 16, followed by congress sessions on May 17 and 18. A scientific committee will draw up a formal programme of around 50 speakers with ‘From Fashion to Factory: A New Technological Age’ as the main theme.
