Automotitve group Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has said that it has received no approach from Chinese group Great Wall Motors for its Jeep brand.

It made a statement on August 21 saying Great Wall Motors had not approached it in connection with the Jeep brand “or any other matter relating to its business”.

This statement came in response to reports around the world that Great Wall had declared an interest in buying Jeep.
