Modern Meadow to move to New Jersey and add 200 jobs

Its new offices will be in building that was part of the US headquarters of pharmaceutical firm Hoffmann-La Roche until 2013. Modern Meadow said on making the announcement that it had outgrown its former base in Brooklyn. After moving, the company has said it will add 200 new employees by 2020.
The New Jersey Economic Development Authority has approved a tax credit of more than $30 million.
Commenting on the move, chief executive, Andras Forgacs, said: “We are excited to be part of the growing New Jersey biotech community. With this move, Modern Meadow is committed to expanding its biofabrication platform and continuing to build next-generation materials for the consumers of the future.”
