New internal structure for Tyson

Mr White had been chief operating officer since February 2017 but has worked for Tyson since the early 1990s, when the company was called Iowa Beef Processors. Andy Callahan, who has led Tyson’s international business until now is one of a number of senior executives who are leaving the company. The changes take effect immediately.
Chief executive, Tom Hayes, said on announcing the changes that Tyson has designed a new structure around the three pillars of its business: red meat, poultry and prepared foods. “A dynamic market demands we become more agile while focusing on consumers, customers and the businesses that deliver our revenue and profit,” he said. “This simple design creates individual responsibility for the performance of our segments to enable faster, better, decisions.”
