Northampton student picks up World Leather award
A student at the University of Northampton’s Institute for Creative Leather Technologies, Francesco Dami, has won an award from World Leather in recognition of outstanding achievement in his third year studying for the institute’s BSc honours course in leather technology.

Commenting on the award, World Leather publisher, Simon Yarwood, said: “We are delighted to encourage the next generation of leather professionals with our ongoing support of the students at the University of Northampton’s Institute for Creative Leather Technologies. Francesco has been an outstanding student and everyone at World Leather wishes him every success in the future.”

Mr Dami wins a year’s subscription to leatherbiz and to the World Leather e-zine. He was presented with a certificate to mark the achievement at a student awards ceremony that the Worshipful Leathersellers’ Company hosted for the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies in London on April 20.
