Audi to produce limited-edition sports version of its R8 Coupé

Automotive company Audi has launched a new special edition of its R8 Coupé, calling it Audi Sport.

Silver, red and black are the colours Audi has chosen “to heighten the car’s motorsport feeling”. The interior includes door trims and sport seats in fine nappa leather, with the same colour combination, and there is contrasting stitching in dark silver.

The car is being built in a limited run of only 200 and can be ordered from May onward. Audi said that what it is doing with this venture is bringing “more motorsport emotion to the production car realm”.
