Fratelli Carlessi spray finishing concept “replicates production settings”

The company called SprayLab “a totally new concept in spray finishing” because the testing of chemical formulations, machine and spray gun settings has been redesigned with this new development to be shorter than on existing machines.
“With the new design, it is now possible to replicate different finishing line settings on a small scale and to replicate exactly on pilot runs the conditions of complete scaled-up production runs on a full-sized spray line.
Speaking at Tanning Tech, Adriano Peruzzi, the special projects manager of Erretre, the group that has owned Fratelli Carlessi since 2009, said: “This is the attraction of SprayLab. Samples that do not replicate real production cannot be representative; the chemicals, the quantity used and the guns will all be different. Here,the quality and quantity of the chemicals, the pump, the movement of the robot, everything is the same as in a production setting.”
