Brazil has strong presence at Lineapelle and Tanning Tech

Four Brazilian tanneries are attending the Lineapelle exhibition in Milan (February 21-23). They are hoping to generate $5 million in business during the first semester of the year.

The companies exhibiting are: Cortume Krumenauer, Courovale, Curtume Natur and Nova Kaeru. They are supported by the Brazilian Leather initiative. 

Tannery and footwear machinery fair Simac Tanning Tech is taking place simultaneously at the Rho exhibition site in Milan. Brazilian Leather is presenting its Preview do Couro (Leather Preview) concept at the event, showing more than 15 articles produced by companies from across Brazil. The collection of hides aims to generate business for Brazilian tanneries and highlight the capabilities of the country’s tanning industry. 

“Our participation will be multiplied with the spaces at both events; tanneries at Lineapelle and Brazilian Leather at Simac Tanning Tech should generate an excellent synergy between business relations and image for the country”, explained José Fernando Bello, executive president of the Centre for the Brazilian Tanning Industry (CICB).
