Turkey becomes an exporter of wet blue

Some Turkish tanners have said that if demand keeps up in the course of this year they will import raw hides to satisfy the wet-blue requirements of tanners in other countries.
Sources in Turkey say shipments of wet blue have already gone to Spain, Portugal, Italy and South Africa.
