Cattle Council of Australia names new CEO

The Cattle Council of Australia (CCA) has appointed Duncan Bremner as its CEO. He will take up the position at the start of 2017.

The organisation announced in October that Jed Matz, who has occupied the role since January 2013, would step down as CEO. He has been at the CCA for ten years.

Howard Smith, president of the CCA, said the organisation was “in a strong position to tackle future challenges” due to the leadership of Mr Matz. He added that he was confident Mr Bremner would help the CCA to continue to effectively serve Australian beef producers.
