Buckman announces price increase

20/10/2016
Leather chemicals manufacturer Buckman has announced a price adjustment on select product lines, which will take effect on November 15, 2016. The price increase will be between 2% and 6%, dependent on geographic location and the products and services sold. In some areas increases may be higher where exchange rate-based adjustments are necessary, the company said.

“This price increase is being driven by rising raw material, energy, transportation, labour, and regulatory costs,” said Brad Walden, Buckman’s vice-president for global supply chain. “Buckman continues to invest in new technology and optimise operations around the world to offer the highest-value products and services to customers at the lowest possible cost.”
