Business publication makes leathergoods entrepreneur a columnist

Mr Hernández began writing for the publication earlier this year, covering business, politics and other topics of national interest.
His own-name brand has more than 60 stores in Colombia and across the region. Its stated aim is to become the best known luxury leathergoods brand that South America has given the world so far.
Its founder said in a recent column that, while “entrepreneurship” and “innovation”, have become buzz-words in Colombia, he believes many people understand the terms badly. “It’s not just about setting up a business,” he said.
He added that he believes this lack of understanding is holding back export growth and he said it came as no surprise to him that no university in Colombia features in the recently published list of the top 500 universities in the world.
