Record sales in China for Volkswagen

It handed over a total of 4,374,900 vehicles in the January to September 2016 period, which is an increase of 0.6% compared to the same period last year. The company said a strong performance in China was one of the main reasons for achieving growth.
Volkswagen delivered 288,800 vehicles to customers in China in September, an increase of 22.8% compared to 2015. So far this year, it has delivered 2,133,100 vehicles to customers in China, a new record for the nine-month period and an increase of 11.4% compared to the same months in 2015.
