US industry names new USHSLA president

Leon Tolbert, president of Northwoods International, has been elected chairman of the US Hide, Skin and Leather Association (USHSLA). He will serve in this role for two years.
 
Mr Tolbert has worked in the hides and skins industry for almost 40 years. In 2006, he founded Northwoods, located in Green Bay, Wisconsin, a hide trading, consulting, marketing and processing company.
 
On taking up the role, he said: “It is an honour and a privilege to be elected chairman of the USHSLA. I look forward to working with my fellow association members and industry colleagues to address the challenges faced by the hides, skins and leather industry in the coming years.”
