Italian delegation to visit Pakistan

An Italian trade delegation, with participants from a variety of industries, including leather, will visit Pakistan in December to promote trade between both countries.

The Italian Trade Commission (ITC), which has reopened its office in Pakistan after a hiatus of three years, made the announcement in mid-October.

A spokesperson for ITC confirmed to leatherbiz that the delegation will include representatives of the leather industry.

According to Dr Stefano Pontecorvo, the ambassador of Italy to Pakistan, said the delegation is likely to comprise around 80 entrepreneurs and will be led by Italy’s vice-minister for economic development, Teresa Bellanova.
