Italprogetti celebrates Russian orders at Lineapelle

During the September edition of the Lineapelle exhibition in Milan, the Russian Leather Association signed contracts on behalf of its member tanneries for new machinery and technology valued at approximately $5.7 million.

Pisa-based tanning machinery developer Italprogetti said at the end of Lineapelle that most of the new equipment the Russian tanners have bought is Italian and that it was one of the technology providers to win a share of this new business.

It said it had made important additions to its order-book for 2017.
