New PielColor application lab in Kanpur
Leather chemicals manufacturer Stahl has opened a new Pielcolor application lab in the Kanpur tanning cluster, India. The lab focuses on the latest developments in leather finishing and on customer service.

Stahl said on announcing the development that the new lab in Kanpur and its recently inaugurated centre of excellence in Thane are evidence of a strengthening of the group’s position in the Indian leather industry.

The company now has nine R&D centres, 11 manufacturing sites and nearly 40 application labs around the world.

PielColor was founded in Barcelona in 1977 and built up a reputation for developing high-quality chemicals for leather finishing. It has been part of the Stahl Group since 2004.
