Pikolinos founder stands aside as his son becomes CEO

Footwear group Pikolinos has confirmed that Juan Manuel Perán has taken over as chief executive. Son of founder, Juan Perán, the new head of the company has been vice-president of Pikolinos for the last seven years, but he has spent time outside the group, completing technical courses and working in the footwear industry in Germany and in Italy earlier in his career.

His sister, Rosana Perán, takes over now as vice-president of Pikolinos, while their father will now become honorary president of the company he founded in 1984.

Pikolinos closed its 2015-2016 accounts with revenues of €92 million. It produced more than 2 million pairs of shoes during the period. It exports to more than 60 countries around the world.
