Acicam says Bogotá fair is now Andean region’s biggest
The thirty-fourth edition of the Bogotá International Footwear and Leather Show (IFLS) will take place in the Colombian capital from August 2-4. In parallel, leather and footwear machinery and technology providers will take part in the sixteenth edition of the EICI exhibition.

Industry association Acicam has said it is expecting 500 Colombian exhibitors and other participating companies from Brazil, Mexico, Peru and Spain. In terms of visitors, the expected number is 12,000. On announcing these projections, Acicam president, Luis Gustavo Flórez, commented: “This event has become our industry’s most important business platform in the whole Andean region.”

Peruvian footwear and accessories designer, Jessica Butrich, will be a special guest at the fair.
