Brazilian footwear group Grendene is to launch its Zaxy brand in Spain, its top market in Europe. Grendene already sells shoes there under its Ipanema, Rider and Grendha brands.

Grendene achieved a volume of sales of 180 million pairs in all markets in 2015 but has the capacity to produce 250 million pairs. All of its production takes place in Brazil.
