COTANCE confirms new president

The former general manager in Europe of GST AutoLeather, Thomas Bee, is the new president of COTANCE, the tanning industry’s representative body in the European Commission.

Mr Bee has a background in leather chemicals and joined Seton (later GST AutoLeather) in 2000. He worked there until the end of 2014, when he left to run Schafstall Holding, a Mülheim-based hide supply company.

He will be the president of COTANCE until 2018.

Vice-presidents over the same period will be Jonathan Muirhead of the Scottish Leather Group, Hugues Pichon of Tanneries Roux and Rino Mastrotto of the Rino Mastrotto Group.
