Canadian brand launches special-edition Le Mans shoes

Specialist Toronto-based driving shoe brand Piloti has announced a new partnership with the 24 Hours of Le Mans race. Beginning in 2017, Piloti will offer special edition Le Mans driving shoes, designed for fans, driving enthusiasts and “lovers of the automotive culture epitomised by this iconic motorsports event”.

The shoes will be available at special boutiques in Paris and in the city of Le Mans that sell merchandise linked to the race. They will also go on sale in specialty motorsports boutiques worldwide.  

Made in Italy, the collection constitutes “a luxury line of premium leather driving shoes” that combine Italian design, racing style, and patented biomechanics, Piloti said at the time of the announcement. The biomechanics in question are a trademarked, spherical heel for cushioning and support.
