ICT elects new president

Taiwan’s Richard Pai has been elected as the new president of the International Council of Tanners (ICT). The organisation elected Mr Pai, president of TehChang Leather Products in Taiwan and of the Taiwanese International Leather Association, as its leader for the next two years at its annual meeting in Hong Kong at the start of April.

He replaces Rino Mastrotto, who stepped down from the role after two years, at the same meeting.

Members also elected Lisa Howlett of Auburn Leather and current chair of Leather Industries of America, as vice-president of ICT.
