Fall in China’s leather garment production after weak second half

China’s National Bureau of Statistics has said production of leather garments in the country in 2015 fell by 7.3% compared to 2014.

Halfway through last year, leather garment production showed a modest growth compared to a year earlier, which suggests the decline occurred during the second half of 2015.

In all, Chinese manufacturers produced just over 80 million leather garments last year.
