Third partner joins Amtan and Whiteline in Paris venture
Strategic exotic leather partners Amtan from the US and Whiteline from Italy have announced that French firm Compagnie des Tanneurs is now working with them to run the showroom they opened in central Paris in September 2015.

Located just a few hundred metres from the Arc de Triomphe, the showroom provides a permanent showcase for the Paris-based design community to see at close hand the specialist alligator and crocodile leathers that Whiteline and Amtan produce, in Santa Croce, Tuscany and in Griffin, Georgia, respectively.

For its part, Compagnie des Tanneurs is owned by Igor Chamakoff, a fourth-generation leather dealer. It has a workforce of 13 people in offices in Lyon, Cholet (close to Nantes) and Paris, carrying a full range of leathers for the luxury market.

All three partner companies have combined to appoint Martina Sinicropi as the new manager of the Paris showroom. She will advise clients on selecting and using alligator and crocodile and help run the marketing of the joint operation. The Paris showroom is open Monday-Friday but is accessible by appointment only.

Amtan and Whiteline originally announced a broad, strategic exotic leather partnership at the start of 2012.
