Luxury leathergoods brand Céline has secured intellectual property protection for the design of its Luggage Tote bag.

A US-based publication called The Fashion Law, specialising in legal issues surrounding fashion brands, announced the development at the start of January, saying it will make it easier for Céline to pursue any companies it believes have copied the bag’s “a three-dimensional configuration of a rectangular bag with extendable accordion-style sides, extruding parallel S-wave designs” and other features.
