Colombia expects IFLS to demonstrate leather sector growth

In a press statement in the build-up to the exhibition, Colombia’s main leather and footwear industry association, Acicam, said its aim was for Colombian manufacturers to use the event as a platform for “closing business at levels that represent important growth in this sector”.
More than 500 companies will take part in the exhibition this year, with around 80% of them Acicam members. The association said it hopes its members will secure contracts with a combined value of more than $9 million.
