Liverpool-based manufacturer of precision fleshing, splitting and shaving knives to the leather industry, Hardy UK Limited, has been acquired by Arkote, a specialist machine blade manufacturer based in Sheffield.

Arkote managing director, Peter Oxspring, said on announcing the acquisition: “The Hardy leather knives brand will thrive under our new management, and planned investment across many platforms will continue to develop the brand with business partners worldwide.”
