Falls for Pakistan leather exports

Export earnings for Pakistan’s leather sector showed sharp declines in the first four months of the current financial year.

Between July and October 2015, finished leather exports brought in $125.8 million, leathergoods $181.3 million and leather footwear $31 million. Year on year, these figures represent declines of 22.5%, 16.8% and 28.9% respectively.
