All eyes on garments at Istanbul Leather Fair

The tenth Istanbul Leather Fair took place in the Turkish city from November 3-5, with tanners, chemical suppliers, machinery companies and leather garment manufacturers displaying their latest products and innovations.

In all, around 200 exhibitors, from Turkey and from overseas, took part.

Local industry commentators said garments made from sheep nappa and lamb double-face were the biggest attraction for overseas buyers attending the fair and that levels of interest would give an indication of the production levels Turkish tanners will have to meet in 2016.
